HMDPA supports the music education of over 250 Hillsdale Middle School and Cajon Valley Union School District elementary school students through financial contributions, fundraising and volunteer service.

HMDPA currently provides substantial financial support for students participating in instrumental and choral music in performance ensembles directed by Music Director Spencer Caldwell.  In partnership the CVUSD, HMDPA makes it possible for Hillsdale students to have music education and performance experiences that extend beyond the basic classroom curriculum.

The primary source of our funding comes from the donations from the parents, grandparents, family and friends of  Hillsdale students currently participating in Beginning and Intermediate Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band,  Mixed Boys and Girls Choral Ensemble,  Uptown Jazz Band, Downtown Jazz Band, and Hillsdale Drum Line.  Your generosity and love make it all possible!

Who is HMDPA?  We are the parents, grandparents, family and friends of Hillsdale Middle School Instrumental and Choral Music Students. We are committed to providing a high quality music program in Rancho San Diego’s public schools.

The HMDPA Board of Directors includes nine elected officers and the Music Director. Additional support is provided by volunteers who serve as committee chairpersons or appointed officers.

What Does HMDPA do?
