Downtown Jazz — T/TH 7:30 - 8:30 AM

Comprised of some of the strongest members of the Music Department and school. This activity is open by audition only and is for anyone enrolled in the school.  Jazz students will study many styles of music including Swing, Latin, and Rock as well as an introduction to advanced music theory and improvisation. There is an Additional $10 Student Contribution per trimester for music and festival entrance fees.  Specific Formal Attire (bowling shirts) will be required. Auditions will be announced through school bulletins. Most likely 3rd week of school. See Mr. Caldwell for an audition packet.
