Hillsdale Music Department Parent Association
The Parent Association has been given the task of supporting 270 students with their Musical endeavors. The size and magnitude of this department and the enriching curriculum means it can't happen without funding, chaperones, and organization. The parents are vital part of the success of the Hillsdale Music Department.
What do they do?
Maintain 270 accounts
Provide in-class volunteers
Organize an end of year Banquet to recognize all students achievements.
Provide fundraisers which goes directly to student accounts unless otherwise stated.
Host Solo /Ensemble Festival for all Southern California music students
Help students with financial hardships
Chaperone: Concerts, Assemblies, Disneyland, etc.
Create a atmosphere of positive enrichment. We include everybody.
Buy instruments for music dept. for students who can't afford them.
Hire specialized staff to enhance the Musical Achievement of all students.
Provide a line of communication from Mr. Caldwell to the Parents.
To ensure safe and successful trips- especially Disneyland and Magic Mountain.
Meet monthly to discuss and organize all the above.
What can you do?
Come to meetings, get involved, Volunteer.
Sign-up for Vons (escrip), Albertsons, and Ralphs
Send in Box Tops
Stay informed
Turn in Used printer Cartridges and cell phones
